May 10th, 2012 The Tucson Association of Realtors multiple listing service statistics for April have been released. Here's an overview: The average sales price moved north 4.5% from March to $175,000.00, not bad. Then, the listing inventory is the big surprise with a drop under 4,000  to 3700, impressive and could explain the average sale price increase. A year ago the listing inventory was over 6,000. Closed sales for April showed 38% were cash, conventional loans came in at 31% with government loans around 28% of the pie. Average days on the market are still in the seventies.
